Oak Valley has a new online SchoolPool program to help you set up a carpool to and from school.  The regional SchoolPool program is part of RideLink, the commuter services program provided by San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).

It's often a challenge to juggle your child's ride to and from school with your busy schedule. To make this travel easier, our SchoolPool program offers a FREE carpool matching service. With this safe and secure online service, you find other parents in your neighborhood with whom you can carpool. It is designed to help you make arrangements to share the driving responsibilities when dropping off and picking up your children, allowing you to more easily manage school and work schedules.  You can also save money on gas, reduce congestion, save time and help the environment.

If you are interested in this program you will need a passcode to sign up.  Please call Anne Shaughnessy at 858-487-2939 X6129 to get the passcode.  Then go to www.511sd.com/iCommute and follow these step-by-step instructions.  If you don’t find a ride match right away, please allow time for other parents to sign up for this program and re-visit the website in a few days.
