8th Grade Counselor
I am currently the counselor for all of 8th grade. As a counselor I work with all students, including those considered at risk and those with special needs. My goal is to advocate for students and to work with other individuals and organizations to promote their academic, career, and personal and social development. I often consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, medical professionals, and social workers in order to develop and implement strategies to help students be successful in their education. I do preventive and developmental counseling with students individually, with small groups, or with entire classes to provide them with the life skills needed to deal with problems before they occur and to enhance growth in all areas of their life.
