Principal's Message:

Welcome to Monterey Ridge, home of the Monarchs! We are proud to be the 23^rd elementary school in the Poway Unified School District opening August 24, 2006. It is a pleasure to serve as the first principal of our new school. I am looking forward to working with the wonderful communities, families and staff of Monterey Ridge.

Our new school is being staffed with employees coming from throughout the Poway School District. We are pleased to welcome students from both Turtleback and Stone Ranch as well as families new to the community. We look forward to working together to develop a strong vision and academic focus for our students. We will offer a variety of experiences that will provide all of our students with the opportunity to reach their full potential in an environment that supports continuous learning.
