5th Grade School Supplies

 Dear Parents,

Can you believe your child is already going on to 5^th grade?  We would like to welcome you and your child to 5^th grade here at Midland Elementary.  Summer is just starting, and we know you have a lot of plans now that school is out.

 Each grade level has come up with a list of recommended supplies for the 2009-2010 school year.  As you begin to shop for school supplies at the end of the summer break, please consult this list to ensure your child has the proper supplies to being the new school year.

5^th Grade School Supplies

·        2 inch 3-ring binder (No Trapper Keepers please)

·        1 pencil pouch inside binder

·        8 ½ x 11 inch college ruled notebook paper (3 packs unopened)

·        2 sets notebook dividers

·        highlighters

·        1 pack #2 pencils

·        colored pencils

·        markers

·        2 black ultra fine Sharpie markers

·        2 red pens (ballpoint or rollerball)

·        4 Expo dry erase markers - fine point

·        glue stick

·        1 pack 3x5 lined notecards

·        scissors

·        ruler with metric

·        compass

·        protractor

·        large eraser

·        1 box of tissues

Please check your child’s supplies periodically and
restock as needed throughout the year.

Each individual teacher may ask for some additional supplies once school begins.
