Programs
The PTSA supports various school and district programs, including:
- Mock SAT testing- This program allows students to practice their test-taking skills before taking the SAT officially. At the grade back night, students receive feedback on improvement areas and information on test preparation programs.
- National PTA Reflections Program- this nationally sponsored program is offered each year by PTA. Each year a theme is chosen and students may submit original work in a variety of categories, including writing, art, dance, music and photography. Each work is judged at the school level. Winning entries are submitted to the council level, district and ultimately national level.
- Grad Nite- is designed to provide graduation seniors with a safe and entertaining way to spend graduation night. Held in the gym, parents create a wonderland, based on a chosen theme. Entertainment includes: dancing, music, casino night, wall climbing and food. More Grad Nite info
- Senior Scholarships- each spring, the MCHS PTSA awards scholarships to deserving students. Applications are available online and all applicants or a family member must be a member of PTSA. The application deadline is April 3, 2009
- Teacher Scholarships- teachers have the opportunity to apply for scholarships for ongoing education, educational experiences.
- Newsletter
