About Us
National Honor Society is a nationally affiliated organization emphasizing scholastic achievement, exemplary personal character, leadership, and community service. NHS members are highly motivated and well-balanced students, who actively work with teachers and students at MCHS as tutors and peer role models. Members take the most rigorous academic classes offered at MCHS and participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including commitments of regular volunteer work in our community. Membership in NHS provides opportunities for scholarships and special recognition at graduation. Applications are being accepted now until June 1st, 2013.
