Hello Dolly
Hello Dolly! Out of the blue, Ian Wilmut, a researcher from the Roslin
Institute in Scotland, announced that his team had successfully cloned a
lamb from an adult cell. The next day, the Pope denounced the discovery as a
"lack of respect for life". The scientific community hailed the discovery as
a break through for mankind.
The Dictionary of Cell Biology
The Dictionary of Cell Biology is intended to provide quick access to
easily-understood and cross-referenced definitions of terms frequently encountered in
reading the modern biology literature.
Handbook
of Forensic Services
The purpose of the Handbook of Forensic Services is to
provide guidance and procedures for safe and efficient methods of collecting
and preserving evidence and to describe the forensic examinations performed
by the FBI Laboratory.
Forensic
Entomology
Forensic Entomology is the knowledge of insects used to aid
legal investigations. The creators of this website are consultants in
forensic entomology, but also explain how insects at a crime scene can offer
clues. Learn about the life cycle of insects, protocol (how to observe the
scene and collect specimens), the equipment you need to work with, and how
to ship specimens.
