NEW ITEMS
CONGRADULA-TIONS	The Varsity Wrestling Team won first place at the Mira Mesa tournament with three Champions: Miguel Dorantes, Alex Weber and Ted Kassen.  The three runner-ups were Danny Grant, Mitsu Smyth and Abdul Dahman.  All of the Sundevils placed either 3rd or 4th in the tournament and we won by at least 40 points.  We will have our first home dual meet this Thursday against Ramona in Sundevil Arena starting with JV/Frosh at 5pm and varsity at 7 pm.
COMPUTER LITERACY	Do you need to fulfill the computer literacy requirement to graduate from High School? We are offering a Computer Literacy test on January 20, 2010. Signups are located on Ms. Wilshire’s desk in the Sun Center Space is limited so sign up early.
HOLIDAY DANCE CONCERT	The Holiday Dance Concert is this Thursday and Friday at 7:00 pm in the PAC. Please come and enjoy, and get into the holiday spirit with Mount Carmel Dance Ensemble, All Male Team, and Dance Troupe. Tickets are $5.00 pre sale at lunch in the Quad, $7.00 at the door, and $10.00 reserved. Flowers and Star Grams for your favorite dancer will be sold to support Dance troupes up coming season of competition.

6 ½ SOCIAL BALLROOM DANCE	6 1/2 Social Ballroom Dance - Do you feel a tinge of jealousy when you see people showing off their fancy moves on Dancing with the Stars?  Do you feel your feet moving against your will when you hear music playing?  Then come join us for Social Ballroom Dance where you can learn to waltz, swing, salsa, hustle, and much more!  Meet in Ms. Rodillon's classroom (U4) on Wednesday after tutorial (2:40 pm) to sign up!
PIGGIES	Interact members will be coming around to pick up change during 3rd and 4th period. They will return the piggy to you on Wed.  We will do a final collection. Thanks again to those of you who are participating.

REMINDERS
TRI-M MUSIC HONOR SOCIETY	The first meeting of the Tri-M Music Honor Society will be this coming Wednesday, December 16th at lunch in the Choir Room.  Please let Mrs. Martinez know if you CANNOT be there.
ADULT STATUS	If you have turned 18 and are interested in your Adult Status, please meet with Mr. Magno today at lunch (12:45) in the Sun Center Conference Room.  Mr. Magno will go over all the rights and responsibilities of being an adult while attending Mt. Carmel.
PSAT RESULTS	PSAT results from this past October are now available online!  If you would like to access your scores now, please see Ms. Fisher in the Sun Center to get your online code.  If you don’t mind waiting, we will be passing out the hard copies of your PSAT results in homeroom after the New Year along with a guided lesson on how to interpret and use your scores.
