San Diego North Rotary Club Scholarships
Eligibility: MCHS Senior, planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college,
financial need, & outstanding school and community leadership role
demonstrated by participation in student government, Interact, clubs, sports
or other activities. Preference will be given to Interact Club
students or seniors with a history of community service. Application
available in the Sun Center or on Naviance. Deadline: Wednesday, May 22.
Briana Williams Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is dedicated in memory of Briana Williams, a Mt. Carmel
High School 2011 graduate. Briana had a vibrant personality and always
had a smile on her face. She was extremely passionate about her family
and friends. At Mt. Carmel High School, Briana was a pitcher on the
Varsity Softball Team and she also participated in Cheer. She had a
good sense of humor and was known for her eccentric and creative sense of
fashion. Briana planned to attend the Academy of Art University in San
Francisco and play softball for their college, while pursuing her dream of
fashion. Briana William's family is proud to sponsor this scholarship
in her memory, to recognize students pursuing higher education who are
creative and original in their own way and have overcome challenges in their
lives.
