AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Do you have a hobby, skill or interest that you would like to share with Morning Creek students? Programs can be one time sessions or ongoing, after school, evenings, or weekends.

GIFT WRAP SALE

Help with this fund-raiser is needed to distribute prizes and tally orders during September.

REFLECTIONS

This is a National PTA arts competition dedicated to providing an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. Volunteers are needed in November to help judge entries and in the spring to help Reflections Awards.

TALENT SHOW

This is an opportunity for students of all ages to participate in our annual talent show! Because we have so many talented entries, volunteers are needed to help select finalists. Help is also needed with preparing costumes and back stage help is needed on the night of the performance.

GIRL’S NIGHT OUT

This is a fun-filled evening in March for girls and their dads (or favorite adult). Volunteers make this happen by planning a theme, decorating and coordinating food and drinks.

BOY’S NIGHT OUT

This is a fun-filled evening in March for boys and their moms (or favorite adult). Volunteers make this happen by planning a theme, decorating and coordinating food and drinks.

BOOK FAIR

This is an opportunity to purchase new books at a great “buy one, get one free” special. Volunteers guide the children in making age appropriate choices.

HOSPITALITY

The hospitality committee is responsible for coordinating Teacher Appreciation Week and all other PTA events where food is required. Your help in decorating and donating food items would be greatly appreciated.

RUNNING CLUB

Help coordinate our running club. Students run laps twice a week on the track at recess and volunteers are needed to hand the children a Popsicle stick as they complete each lap. Awards will also be given! Help make this running club a success.

YEARBOOK

The yearbook committee coordinates fall school pictures as well as yearbook design. If you love to take photographs and scrapbook, this is for you!

ROOM PARENT

One adult per class room is needed. The room parent assists the teacher with events and parties and calling parent volunteers for classroom and PTA needs.

LIBRARY

Assist librarian with the many tasks that are required to maintain the operation of our library.
