Meadowbrook School Site Council
The Meadowbrook School Site Council is looking for parents to fill vacancies on the Council.
The purpose of the Council is to provide input and support of the Meadowbrook Single Plan for Student Achievement: "To increase achievement for all students through a comprehensive literacy effort." This is an important council which works to provide direction for the operation of various school programs.
Meetings are held once a month, 2:30-3:30 P.M., typically on Wednesdays. Representatives are elected to serve a two-year term. If you are interested in guiding our vision for student success and becoming one of the three parent representatives, please contact Christine Donnelly by email at cdonnelly@powayusd.com or phone 858-748-0802 x2901 by September 2, 2009. You will be asked to submit a 100 word statement for the ballot. Voting will take place at Back to School Night on September 9th.
The Council is made up of the principal, four teachers, one classified employee, three students, and three parents. Each member has an equal voice.
