Dear Families of Meadowbrook, 

My name is Betty Li and I am honored to be appointed as your new PTSA President for the rest of the school year.

Your PTSA has been working very hard in planning and organizing programs to better serve the families of Meadowbrook. Please refer to the Goals and Programs for further details. We have the best interest and well being of your children in our hearts. However, we can’t do it without your support.  Please consider volunteering at Meadowbrook by contacting our Volunteer Coordinator, Debbie Ludwin, at dludwin@hotmail.com.  Debbie would simply send you an email when opportunities arise, you reply with the date and time that fits your schedule & interest. Do you know there are over 85 rigorous academic research studies conducted over 30 years that prove kids do better when their parents are involved?

·         Grades are higher.

·         Test scores improve.

·         Attendance increase. (California State PTA, the Communication, July 2007 issue)

Thanks to all of you that have supported our no hassle fundraiser thru Cash for Kids. 100% of your donation goes to support our goals.  Over $7000 has been donated so far.  Please also consider joining our PTSA and being a member of this wonderful organization. Association Meeting is held every 2 months from September to April starting at Back to School night. You have a voice and your ideas and suggestions are always welcome & valued.  Please join us on Wednesday, Nov 18, 2009, 7:00 pm at the school library for our next meeting.  The meeting is open to all students, families, and staff.
