Message from the PTA President

Welcome to Highland Ranch Elementary School.  We hope you and your child(ren) will have an exciting and memorable year here at the Ranch.   We are looking forward to helping facilitate exciting activities and events with the HRE PTA board, committee chairs and volunteers. 

Many of the events throughout the school year are sponsored and organized by the PTA.  This includes school dances, movie night, science fair, book fairs and the fall festival, to name a few.  The PTA is also responsible for several fundraisers throughout the year that help pay for school assemblies, improvements and services.

All of this is done by parents and guardians, just like you, that volunteer to help with these events.  The success of the PTA is directly connected to those that are able to volunteer their time and adult family members that join the PTA.  The more parents and guardians we have join and participate, the greater benefit we can provide our school, and the more activities and events we can organize for our kids.  100% of your monetary donation to join the PTA goes directly to HRES students for these activities and events, and additional classroom needs, improvements and services.

If you are interested in volunteering during the school year, please complete the PTA Volunteer Opportunities Form and return it to your child’s teacher.  There are a number of volunteer opportunities, both big and small, and equally important to help reach our goals.  Please consider joining the PTA.  If you are able to volunteer your time, we know you will have a great time and find the experience very rewarding.
