Kelly's beginning her fifth year as an assistant principal in the District. She has worked at both Poway and Rancho Bernardo High Schools. Prior, Kelly taught for five years at the middle school level. Burke has a comprehensive understanding of education at the high school level.

She is a strong instructional leader who maintains a  great philosophy, and is committed to ensuring each student reaches his or her potential. Together, Ms. Burke and Mr. Mizel will be assembling a DNHS Leadership Team later this fall. The team will be comprised of subject area specialists (lead teachers), parents, and student representatives. More information to follow.
