The Winter season has arrived! If you’re child is trying out or made a team for the Winter season, join us for a group meeting and break out session on Thursday November 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 in the Performing Arts Center. Information presented will cover; athletic department expectations and general information for the upcoming season. After our general meeting, you will be meeting with your student-athletes coach to review specific rules, schedules, and other key topics. Thank you for taking the time to attend, I look forward to a great season.

Nighthawks Roller Hockey Team Info: Currently we have a JV Club team playing in Silver Division. The club team had a
good preseason 4-1-1, but we need players for winter season play so contact us
if interested.
There will be a tournament (Galindo Memorial) for seeding into winter season.
Wednesday through Sunday Nov18th -22 at least 4 games played. There is more to
come when league releases schedule.
Practice is every Sunday 5-6PM at Escondido Sports Center

Boys Soccer: Tryouts for the Boy's soccer program will be held from Monday the 16th of November through Friday the 20th of November 2009, on the back grass soccer fields from 4:00 to 6:00 pm daily. All players should bring their boots, shinguards, running shoes and water. Also, each player must have a “Ticket to Play” from the Athletic Department in order to participate in the tryouts. Cross Country ~ Congratulations to the girls cross country team for participating in their first varsity level meet, the Valley League Finals this past weekend. The girls place 6th overall as a team, ahead of both Oceanside and Orange Glen. Great job girls, and good luck at CIF Finals this week!

Need a "Ticket to Play" for DNHS Sports? The packet with all the forms is located in either the upper right or lower left of this site. All pages must be filled out. You can turn it in in the office to Teri Johns, Athletic Specialist. Included in this packet is information on athlete monies needed for transportation this year. YOU CANNOT PRACTICE OR TRYOUT FOR A TEAM WITHOUT A TICKET TO PLAY.
