The Trimester System.  Del Norte High School is bringing a new schedule to the Poway Unified School District.  After conducting extensive research, we have decided to adopt the trimester schedule.  Students attend school the same number of days (180), but the time is divided into three distinct 60-day grading periods.   The beauty of the trimester schedule is that it allows students to take 15 classes per year as compared to only 12 classes under the traditional 6-period day.  To find out more about the trimester system and how it works, click here
