Q:What time can I drop my child off for school?
A:Students should not arrive at the school before 7:40 a.m.,
the time that playground supervision begins.
Q:Will there be lunch offered on the first day?
A:
Yes, the cafeteria will
be serving a choice of a chicken corn dog, pepperoni pizza, yogurt with
graham crackers, or a salad-to-go. The lunches
will again include milk for $1.50. Milk can be purchased separately
for $.35 and juice for $.30. Information regarding free or reduced
price lunch will be sent home with your students during the first week
of school.
Q:Can my child ride his/her bike to school?
A:
Riding bikes to school is
limited to students in 3rd-5th grade. Each
child must wear a helmet and provide a lock for his/her bike. Students
must have a signed permission slip on file in the office (forms available
in office).
Q:Where can I get a list of school supplies?
A:
The list will be mailed home
but is also available online or in the school office.
Q:What are the dates for holidays and non-student days?
A:Student
handbooks will be sent home with your student during the first week of
school. All holidays and non-student days will be listed
in the handbook. View the calendar online.
Q: What do I do when my child is absent?
A: Call the 24-hour absence hotline 858-484-4876 .
Q: I need to register my child for school. What should I do?
A: The district office has t the forms necessary to register and additional
information.
