Conference Week November 16-20, 2009
Remember, Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place the week of November 16th-20th. Students will be on a “Minimum Day” schedule that entire week. School will begin at 8:00 every day INCLUDING FRIDAY! Kindergarteners will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m., and students in grades 1 through 5 will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

Ice Cream Update
Looking for a sweet afterschool treat? Deer Canyon Student Council will be selling ice cream every other Friday this year on the same dates as the Used Book Exchanges.
Casino Royale
The first annual Casino Royale was a huge success! Thank you to
all the parents who attended this fabulous event. It was truly a magical

But even more important was the $12,235 raised by Deer Canyon
Foundation to support Art, Music, PE, Science and Technology at our
school. This is almost $5,000 more than we had set for our first year goal,
and it significantly contributes towards our annual target of $81,000
