SCHOOL NEWS

Artistic Tiles for Posterity At Earth Day Celebration!
The Roots and Shoots Group which includes students from 2nd through 5th grade will be sponsoring Canyon View's Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 23rd from 11:00-1:00. There will tiles for sale that students will be able to paint. The tiles will be decorating our benches in our inner corridor for future generations to enjoy. Each tile costs $20. The money raised will be donated to the PTA for a special project in the future. Tiles will also be sold at Coyote Round-Up. Watch for a "pre-sale" flier to guarantee your child will get to paint a tile.
At the Earth Day Celebration there will be crafts your child can make for $1.00 each, including visors, key chains, and necklaces. There will be songs, games, and activities sponsored the Scripps Aquarium, Penasquitos Preserve, a rain harvesting expert, and a bee keeper. Come and join us for the fun with an ecological theme!

NEEDING DONATION OF GAMES:
We are opening a Coyote Center during lunch for students who want to take a break from the playground. We are in need of games for all age groups K-5. If your family has some games they are no longer using, we would really appreciate the donation.

YEARBOOK PHOTO LAST CALL!!!
Last day to turn in photos for the yearbook is Monday 3/15. You can either burn a disc and leave in the school office or email to Laurie Reinbold at rainy@san.rr.com.
