ConnectEd Message for August 2, 2011
Welcome back to all our returning families and a special welcome to all our new students and parents!
This is Vickie Bakki, principal at Canyon View. I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful summer. We will have two registration days this month, August 9th and August 16th. The hours will be from 8-11 and 4-6. Make sure you go to the Canyon View or PUSD website to get the forms you will need for registration. Fourth and fifth graders have two forms and first through third graders will have one form. We will also be asking you to update your student’s information records. Members of the PTA and Foundation will be here to sign up new members, renew memberships, and tell you about other volunteer opportunities at Canyon View. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a Canyon View tote bag, yearbook, school calendar, and other Coyote gear. PTA will accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
When you update information, please make sure we have all current emails and phone numbers so you receive all Connect Ed updates from school. I will send out reminders of registration over the next two weeks and will also inform you of special events happening the last week of August so stay tuned!
