Cindy Sciotto
I have been teaching for many years, primarily in second and third grade. I love being a Creekside Gecko and teaching your second graders! In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, going to the beach, and exercising. Often you will find my husband (who is also a Poway teacher) and me supporting our two children in their many sports activities.

Christie WeidetzI was born in Mexico City, to an Austrian Engineer and a South Pasadena socialite and moved to San Diego in my early childhood. I graduated from SDSU and consider myself a "native" San Diegan. My credentials include being Reading Recovery Certified, Master of Science in Educational Technology, a BS in Fine Arts and Music and a background in nursing. With over 21 years of teaching experience, I am happiest instructing in my second grade class, however, I have also enjoyed working with Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 4th graders. I am the proud mother of 3 wonderful grown children David, the Art Director for a local company, Erich, a Senior Toy Designer for Mattel and Elizabeth, working as very successful paralegal locally. I enjoy my family, my coastal townhouse, and my occupation which I pursue it with passion and energy! |
Cathy Fitzwilliam
I am a native San Diegan, and I attended Poway schools from third grade until I graduated from Mount Carmel High School. I am a UC Santa Barbara graduate and I am bilingual (Spanish). I have taught primary grades for over 10 years in Pacific Beach, Temecula, and now in Poway! My daughter, Zoe, and my son, Stevie, keep my very busy when I am not in school. I also enjoy running when I have the time. I am so excited to be here at Creekside!
