I teach in the PEPP program and I will have the Big Macs this year. This will be my 6th year at Creekside including one year as a long term sub. I grew up in the LA area and moved here to go to UCSD and have been here ever since. In my spare time I like to read and go to the beach.

Melinda Hamill

I have taught elementary education for 14 years. This year will be my 13th year teaching in the Poway School District.I have taught first grade for two years, k-1 for two years, PEPP for one year, and this will the tenth year I have taught kindergarten. I have four precious adult children ranging from 24 years of age to 30. My oldest daughter Katie and her husband Robert have blessed us with two adorable grand-daughters, Madi (4) and Reece (2). Mallory (28) was married this summer and blessed us with a wonderful son-in-law, they will be moving to Seattle Wahington as Mallory will be starting a new sales position. Kelsie (25) is living in Kirkland Washington and beginning her teaching career (last year she actually taught at the elementary school that I attended!). Finally, my son Brooks (24) and serving his second year in the Navy in Virginia, he will be based out of San Diego in March 2013! During my free time I love to hike, run and walk on the beach, kyak, paddleboard,and spend quality time hanging out with my husband Bill, family, and two dogs, Tucker (13) and Tallie (3). In the classroom I LOVE reading with my students and watching their growth/success in writing and illustrating!

Susan Healy

This is my 33 year of teaching and my 9th year teaching kindergarten. Yes, you figured it out...I am 41 years old! I live in Poway with my wonderful husband, Joe. We have been married 34 years and we have two great adult children, Betsy, who is a kindergarten teach in the district, and Jeff, who is an Electrical Engineer. We also have two dogs, Molly and Lily who live with us, so there is never a dull moment at home! My favorite thing to do besides reading is to teach reading.  We love to entertain in our home where we have lived for 29 years.

Danielle Archuleta

 I grew up in Rancho Bernardo and went to school in the Poway Unified School District. I have been teaching in Poway since 2002 in special education. I started my teaching career at Garden Road Elementary and taught there for 5 years then I became part of the Creekside family 6 years ago. I feel so fortunate to work here at Creekside! I live in Escondido with my husband, my son, Logan and daughter, Aliyah. I enjoy spending time with my family!
