I have taught kindergarten, first and second grade for 18 years.  I have been at Creekside for 5 years and taught at Los Pen for 13 years.  I have 4 grown sons, 4 grandsons and 1 grand daughter.

I live in Carmel Mt. Ranch with my husband and 3 sons’ ages 18, 16 and 9. I've spent all 22 years of my teaching career in P.U.S.D. teaching grades K, 1, 2, and 3. I love to loop from 1st to 2nd grade.    Six, seven and eight year olds are my all time favorite little people.

I currently teach 2nd grade at Creekside and look forward to being a first grade teacher next year. I grew up in Bakersfield, went to Fresno State, then married Ray, (my high school sweetheart), and moved frequently due to his being in the Air Force. We have two boys; Keith, who works in Hollywood and Seth, currently working here in San Diego.

I have been teaching for 22 years--all in Poway.  I came to Creekside when it opened and have loved every minute of being here!  Our community of students, parents, and staff is unmatched anywhere.  My favorite grades to teach are first and second and I love "looping" with my students.  Outside of school, I like to read, quilt, knit, scrapbook and my newest adventure--making my own greeting cards!

Courtney Jennings

This will be my fourth year teaching first grade at Creekside.  My BAS is from San Diego State University where I was actively involved in my sorority Kappa Alpha Theta.  I received my teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos University.  In addition to teaching school, I am also a dance instructor.
