Contact your child's Middle School for more information and schedule. (Meadowbrook April 22 6:00-8:00 p.m. in MPR)

Before School Supervision The playground will be open to students in the morning beginning at 8:40 a.m. Once students arrive, they may not leave unless a parent or other authorized person comes to the office to sign them out.  To ensure the safety of our children, you will be required to show identification when you pick up your child.

School Lunches Students have the option of buying lunch at school.  Please prepay by bringing cash or check to the school office, or by credit card online at https://www.schoolpaymentsolutions.com.  Lunch is served daily in the cafeteria for $2.50 which includes milk.  Juice and water bottles are available for an additional fee.  Free and reduced prices are available for those who qualify.  Applications are available at http://www.powayusd.com/nutrition/freeReduced.shtml.

Absences The absence hot line phone number is (858) 679-9343 and is available 24 hours a day.  Please call the absence hot line for your child each day he/she is absent.  In addition, please call if your child will be more than 30 minutes tardy.

Extended Student Services (ESS) Creekside provides an ESS program, which is a fee-based before and after school childcare program.  ESS is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.  All students who participate in ESS must be registered at our ESS building.  Please call our coordinator, Donnie Kirchmeier, at (858) 679-9601 for information regarding registration and fees.

Update Emergency Contacts Only parents or adults listed as an “emergency contact” may check-out a student during the school day.  If parents would like to add or delete people from their child’s emergency list, this must be done in person in the school office. Emergency contacts can also be updated during Continuing Student Enrollment each May in the office. Your child’s “emergency contact” list may be reviewed at MyPlan found at https://myplan.powayusd.com.  Each parent has an individual Account Name and Password for each of their children.  If you have forgotten or misplaced this information, you can contact the PUSD Help Desk at myplanhelp@powayusd.com or 858-521-2790.

Bicycle Riding Only students in grades 3, 4, and 5 may ride a bicycle to school.  Children must wear a helmet, provide a lock for the bicycle, and follow safety rules/laws.  A permission form, obtained from the office, must be completed and on file with the office for students who wish to ride their bikes to school.  Bikes must be walked once on school grounds.  No rollerblades, razors, scooters, or skateboards are allowed on campus.

Parking Lot Drop Off & Pick Up Creekside has a separate “bus loop” which is at the first driveway north on Springhurst Drive.  You may load and unload in the red curb area behind the bus area.  You must turn left when leaving the bus loop.  The curb in the front of the school of the main parking lot is painted red, for loading and unloading only.  You must turn right when leaving the main parking lot.  Double parking is not allowed for drop off or pick.  DO NOT leave your car unattended in any red zone at any time.  Park only in marked parking stalls.

Walking to School Parents should walk with students and cross only in designated crosswalks.  A gate is located at the back of the playground to provide easy access from the park.
