Ways Parents Can Help Their Children During Difficult Times
Principal's Letter
As the principal of Chaparral, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity
to work with this community of parents, students, and staff. Chaparral is a
school with a tradition of excellence. Our talented staff is a caring team
that works together providing high quality learning experiences in a
nurturing and safe environment. Chaparral is a school that utilizes engaging
instructional programs to challenge all students to meet their full
potential. As a community of teachers, and parents, we work to prepare the
students academically and socially to be productive and successful members
of society.
Here at Chaparral, we believe that parents are the most significant
influence in their child’s life. We want our parents to be involved to help
us do the best job possible for our students. Our PTA and Foundation are
extremely supportive and we hope all parents will participate in activities
through the PTA, Foundation, volunteering in the classrooms, parent
education activities, and School Site Council.
I want to invite you to come by the office and introduce yourself. You are
welcome to come in and talk anytime. I look forward to working together for
the students of Chaparral.
