BMMS & PTSA Volunteer Opportunities!

Are you feeling like you'd like to do "something" to help out in your child's school, but not sure how to get involved? Do you have a talent that you'd like to share but don't know the connections to make it happen? Or do you simply have some small blocks of time that you feel could be used to help our school? Then volunteering your time may be the answer and this page of choices is your connection.

The PTSA offers a variety of opportunities for you to volunteer. Whether it is in association with a one-time PTSA sponsored event, or on a periodic basis, we'd love your support.

Parent Ambassador Committee

In 2002 BMMS Faculty created the Parent Ambassador Committee. The goal of this committee is to increase the visibility and involvement of parents on campus. The mission statement reads: We the Black Mountain Middle School parent ambassadors, provide support and encouragement for students, teachers and staff by giving our time in order to continue to foster a productive learning community. The committee meets once a month at the school. Check the Calendars page for dates and times. This committee is open to everyone who wants to attend. Various topics of discussion in the past have included the variety of wellness programs available through the PUSD.
