4. What specific leadership roles can your site provide for promoting AVID in your district, county, region & state?
The BMMS AVID program can provide leadership in how a school can identify potential AVID students following the AVID criteria and have the program grow. We can also show how a school can:
Provide support for rigorous math sequence
Provide teacher coaching
Support students participating in electives and AVID
Provide models for other schools seeking Certification or Demonstration Site Status.
Provide facilities and support for AVID workshops or trainings at our site.
