We will have maps posted and will add pictures of students and staff who were born or who have traveled to these countries. Artifacts will be on display in the Library.

Activities that are being planned:

• Our very own Mirtha Zambrano has been a Salsa dance competition winner and will be demonstrating and teaching interested students Salsa dancing during lunch. (Dates to be announced)

• March 18^th – The San Diego Zoo will be bringing endangered species from the rain forest to BHMS for a program during Bobcat Time

• One of our parents is making arrangements for an art demonstration and will be scheduling a time for students to do art projects at lunchtime.  (Dates to be announced)

• We hope to have another service project and are presently finalizing other activities

Country flags will be hung and labeled in the hallways, artwork and photographs will be displayed, twice weekly music will be playing in the hallways or at lunch, some morning announcements will highlight information about the region, and people of character from the area will be recognized during Friday announcements.
