Best Buddies

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for mutually enriching one-to-one friendships.

Best Buddies Middle School works to match students with and without intellectual disabilities in one-to-one friendships. By introducing Best Buddies to public and private middle schools, we are crossing the invisible line that too often separates those with and without disabilities. By starting at such an early age, students are further encouraged to accept individuals with disabilities.

Our "matching party" for the 2012-2013 school year was held in September, and we have set up a regular meeting schedule.  Lunch time meetings will alternate each week on Thursdays.
