DO YOU HAVE A

WORKING TEEN?

In California, all minors under the age of 18 must have a Work Permit to be employed (including minors employed by parents).

Work Permits serve as an age certificate and state the maximum hours a minor may work based on their age.

The school is the issuing authority for all Work Permits.  This Permit may be revoked or work hours may be reduced if the school believes a minor’s health, education or welfare is in jeopardy.

Work Permits expire 5 days after the start of each new school year and must be renewed annually.

For further information, see Joe Radovich.

NEED A TRANSCRIPT?

Transcript requests have been simplified and are now only a “click” away.  Poway Unified has simplified the process.  Starting in October, you can order and pay for your transcripts on-line!  If you attended Abraxas High School even as far back as 1998, this service is available to you.  Log on to www.docufide.com/index.htm for further information.

If you prefer to come into the office to order a transcript, there is a $4 fee and a 48 hour turnaround time.  Official transcripts must be mailed directly from our school to another school or to an employer.  Only unofficial transcripts can be issued directly to the student.
