  • Teaching students to evaluate resources for credibility and to understand effective ways to harness the vast resources available on the web are critical elements of all we do in education today. Visit Jamie McKenzie's website for some great lessons, student-based projects, and insights to improve our practice in this area.

The San Diego County Office of Ed sponsors the iVIE awards each year, Academy Awards for teacher and student-created video. Poway has created several winning videos. Check them out at these links.

The California Student Media and Multimedia Film Festival is the nation's oldest festival for student work. This site also has links to MANY helpful resources.
