    What's available:

    • Learning Ladder (reports by Tuesday or Wednesday of the week following testing) For a sample, click on the Learning Ladder Link and choose Elementary, Peg, 3rd, Math pre.  Then click on Class Breakdown by Overall RIT score

    • Option to have a "Group View" for grade level teaming, collaborating, and RIT days.

    • Color Coding: Red-below or far below basic, white-basic, green-proficient, blue-advanced (based on if the student had this score in the spring testing for the current grade

    • Individual Student Profiles: Click on a student's name for students who need specific instruction or support

    • Upper Left Navigation provides:

Class Breakdown by Goal Area:  Great info for differentiating with the concepts needed for each area (not a good choice for printing!) The concepts are currently called the "Learning Continuum."  In the future it will be the newest version of the Learning Continuum which is called DesCartes

Class Breakdown by Goal Area without Continuum: Great to have a list you can print to show where students are by each goal area for flexible grouping

Class Report: Great for class goal-setting by using the means at the bottom of the page.  Great for student goal setting (purple is the student's lowest goal area...which is the best area for a goal)

  3. NWEA

    http://www.nwea.org

    What's available:

    • Class Reports 24 hours after Testing  Instructions to retrieve reports (page 1)  (Sample for how to interpret class reports.)

    • Individual Student Reports  have every test a student has taken in graph or text format. Instructions to retrieve reports  (Use page 2) These are the reports teachers use for Parent Teacher Conferences

    • DesCartes:  teachers can look up any RIT score in any goal area to see what a student is ready to learn.  The RIT score is a student's instructional level.  They know 50% of the items listed in the range of their score.  After logging in at the NWEA site, teachers need to scroll down the page until they see the word "DesCartes" under Data Tools in the menu on the left.

    • DesCartes Vocabulary and Signs and Symbols: teachers can look up or print the new vocabulary and symbols for each RIT range.
