MEGAN'S LAW REQUIREMENT
Each
parent that will be working in the Parent Participation Preschool
Program class must submit the following items to the District Preschool
Administrative Office
(see address below)
or to your child’s teacher at orientation
or
on the first day of school:
1.
Volunteer Application

Each volunteer must have a current Megan’s Law Background Check on file
with the Preschool Administration office.
These will be handled
with strict confidentiality at the Preschool District Administration
office.
2. Volunteers’ Code of Conduct
As a Parent Participation Preschool Program volunteer,
parents agree to abide by the PUSD code of volunteer conduct.
3. Tuberculosis
(TB)
Clearance
Each volunteer must have a
current TB test on file with the
Preschool
Administration
office. PUSD offers TB
clinics to our volunteers. Volunteers need proof from their Preschool
Teacher or Administration Office
that they are indeed volunteers. Take this proof with you to the clinic.
4. Copy of Photo Identification

and resources for parents of young children. Available at no charge to
expecting parents and parents of children ages 0-5.
