Science Kits for 4th and 5th Graders
The PUSD Foundation is currently raising funds to provide science kits for all 4th and 5th grade students (4,841) at all 25 elementary schools.
Your donation will make it possible for the students to experience the wonder of science. Our cost to supply kits for kids is $122,000. Help us reach our goal with a generous tax deductible donation.

Sherwin-Williams Neighbor-to-Neighbor School Program
SHERWIN-WILLIAMS, a Poway Unified School District Partner in
Education, announces their Neighbor-to-Neighbor School Program. Mike
Hess, Branch Manager of the local Poway store, is very excited about the
Neighbor-to-Neighbor School Program. As a parent, he is committed to
helping Poway Unified School District students by supporting the Poway
Unified School District Foundation.
Sherwin-Williams has set up an account for the Poway Unified School
District Foundation where purchases earn a cash back bonus on total
eligible sales. It’s Sherwin-Williams’ way of being a good neighbor and
the best part is that all Sherwin-Williams stores participate. So family
and friends who live outside of Poway can still make a donation by
asking that their purchases benefit the PUSD Foundation.

PAST EVENTS
5th Grade Instrumental Music Program
Thank you to parents and community for supporting the Poway Unified School District 5th Grade Instrumental Music Program. The 5th Grade Instrumental Music Program is the foundation for our nationally renowned music program in the Poway Unified School District. The 5th Grade Instrumental Music Program students played at the opening ceremony of the 2004 U. S. Equestrian Olympic Trials. What a great opportunity and tribute to the students, staff and program.
Many of these students will continue to play their instruments through high school and beyond. Poway Unified School District’s nationally recognized, award winning High School Instrumental Music Programs begin with the 5th Grade Band and Orchestra.
