BACKGROUND: Centre for Health Care offers its patients the services of over 40 health care providers comprised of primary and specialty care physicians and associates.    In addition to a full service clinic in Poway including Family Practice, Internal Medicine Pediatrics and Urgent Care, Centre also offers patient care in Internal Medicine and Family Practice in Ramona. Medical specialties in Poway include:  Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Neurology, Nutrition, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), and Physician Liaison Services to Nursing Homes. 

DESCRIPTION:  Plans for the partnership are to promote wellness programs, including health and safety, for optimum benefit to the community of students and staff of Poway Unified School District schools.

	Increase awareness of preventive medicine

Increase student awareness of health care occupations

ACTIVITIES:

	Centre for Health Care will communicate with principal to strategically plan how it can serve the students and staff in addition to participating in the Principal for a Day Program.
	Centre for Health Care will provide education on health-related topics for both students and faculty.
	Centre for Health Care will be a resource to help fulfill the needs of the schools.
	Centre for Health Care will provide sports physicals for several high schools.
