Thursday - In Class: We will start today by reviewing notes on the Vietnam War. We will then view several video segments and answer questions which will detail the impact The Tet Offensive had on public opinion regarding the war. History Social Science Standard 11.9.3        If you are absent: Use your text book and online resources to answer these questions. Submit your answers via e-mail by 7:00 am Friday.

Your chapter assignment is due tomorrow.

Friday- Interview a person who was alive during the Vietnam War. They could be a veteran, a wife of a veteran, a person who remembers living in the US during the war, a protester of the war... Ask them the following questions:

1. What do you remember most about living during the war?, 2. What was your experience with the war?/How did the war affect you? 3. What were some of the war events that you remember most and why? 4. How did you feel about the war at that time? 5. Looking back at that time period, what are your attitudes towards the war today? 6. What is one thing you would like students today to know about the Vietnam War since they were not alive to experience it first hand? 7. (create your own question)

Make sure to explain who you interviewed, their name, how old they were during the war, and how you know them.
