Monday-  Read  "The White Man's Burden"  

Using information from the lectures as well as the opinions brought out in this reading, answer the following question in one well constructed paragraph.

1- Were US actions in Panama, China, and Mexico justified? Use at least 3 CD's from last week's lecture on Foreign Policy (one for each nation listed) and 1 CD from "The White Man's Burden" to prove your point. Be sure to submit your responses to me through Safe Assign by 7:00 am on Tuesday. (18E-20)

Tuesday- Work on research paper. Graphic Organizer due Thursday Oct. 23rd.

Friday- It's time to begin reviewing World War I. You have a choice today. To help you remember the events which led up to the war, either read and review World War I: The Causes or listen to the WW1 lecture. You will need the information from this reading to complete Mondays assignment. History Social Science Standard 11.4.5
