Week Of May 19th
Monday- Today is set aside as a review day for your unit exam. Please complete the following study guide by defining each term and explaining why it is important to the Civil Rights Movement. 20 points in your packet.
Tuesday- STUDY for the EXAM and finish your group project which is due Thursday in class. You will have 20 minutes at the beginning of the period to put on the finishing touches with your group so you need to have it pretty complete before you come to class.
Lab Day-Civil Rights Exam today. You will also be presenting your group project and turning it in today.
Friday- There were several other groups which fought for equality. Listen to the lecture on Other Civil Rights Movements and rank the movements from most effective to least effective. Then in a paragraph, explain why you chose your least effective movement. In other words, what evidence exists to show that they have failed. Be sure to justify your opinion with a concrete detail.
