The Road To Equality
Over the next few days  you will be creating a timeline. It will trace the advancements and setbacks of African-Americans as they struggled for equality. Your timeline will include 50 events. For each event, include the date it occurred and explain how the lives of African-Americans were impacted. I am not asking for a straight definition. Your assignment is to explain the impact the event had on African- Americans. Be sure to use all of the events listed below. The dates of your timeline are 1619-1960. The events must be placed in their correct chronological order. You must also use symbols to distinguish between the positive and negative items on your timeline. You will get all information from your textbook. Do Not E-Mail This Assignment.
