Monday -  Our first stamp activity of the semester will focus on stamps of the 1940's. Answer all 10 questions. (A-20)

To fill in some of the gaps from the start of the war, read pages 548-553 and 559-565 and answer questions 5,6,9,10,14,15,18,19, and 20 on page 566. This is due on Friday. (T-18)

Tuesday -Be sure to print the between the wars outline and bring it with you to class. These notes are an outline. You will be adding information to them. 

Lab Day-  Today, we will see two segments from the show Our World that will focus on the The Voyage of the Damned, and The Invasion of Poland. You will then have your first lecture of the semester. It is called "From Versailles To Pearl Harbor" .  As you listen to the lecture, answer these questions. Be sure to use complete sentences. If you would like to hear President Roosevelt ask Congress to declare war, click here.  The speech is less than 10 minutes. History Social Science Standard 11.7.1

Friday-  Your chapter assignment is due today.  It is now time for your second  lecture. The title of this lecture is  Fighting The War On Three Fronts . The first part of this lecture will deal with the war in Europe and Africa. As you listen to the lecture, answer these questions.  (A-30)  History Social Science Standard 11.7.2
