Today will be devoted to
preparing for your unit
exam.
Tuesday-
You will be having
your unit exam today. It will cover chapters 10 and 11 in your
textbook. The main topics for the exam are The Spanish-American War,
U.S. Imperialism, W.W.I, and the Treaty of Versailles.
Read
chapter 12, pages 428- 448 and answer the attached
questions. Your responses
are due to me
on

Lab Day-
We will start today by
comparing some issues that were important in the 1920's with issues from
today. After that, we will have a short
activity that will examine slang of the 20's. Then,
it's stamp time . Examine these
stamps from the
1920's and answer the questions. (A-20)
Friday- This is not an
assignment- It just seems appropriate for Veterans Day. Have you ever
wondered why some people go down in history as heroes. Read the attached
account of Sergeant York and determine for yourself if Sergeant York is a true
American hero.
