q Read and Outline Chapter 17 - "Cell Reproduction" Mitosis and Meiosis. (at least 2 pages of notes) Due Wed. 12-5-07. ** Note: Don't get confused- Your lab book pages say that this is Chapter 16....it is in the blue text book. In your red text book it is Ch 17. q Review the steps of Mitosis/Meiosis. On your own sheet of paper, draw and label the stages of Mitosis. Due Wed 11-19-08 q Do Lab book p 41-45 (Mitosis and Meiosis). Due Wed. 11-19. This handout will help you. q Do the Onion Root Tip/Mitosis activity. Read through the info on the two pages (clicking "NEXT" at the bottom). Copy and paste the data table on the third page into a Word document. Click "NEXT" again. Do the activity by sorting the cells into their proper cell cycle phase. Fill in your data table. Answer this question in a few sentences: Summarize what you learned in this activity. Due 11-19 in class. q Study for the Chapter 17 Quiz given Wed. 11-19-08 (Meiosis and Mitosis). *** We will most likely skip this and go over the quiz together in class, as you will be presenting your PowerPoint's. Your Infectious Disease PowerPoint and Presentation is due this week (11-19-08). Come prepared- make sure you have a backup plan for your PowerPoint....and practice your Presentation.
