that the cell unit consists of three main parts: This week we will work on Part 2, Moving substances (Cell Transport) CELL TRANSPORT AND ENZYMES QUIZ WEDNESDAY 10/15 q Read and Outline(take notes) for text pages 50-53. Due 10-15 q Finish your Cell Transport Advertisement (we began in class.) Due next Wednesday 10-15. q Do Lab Book pages 23-24 all. Due 10-15 q Take the Cell Structure/Function and Transport Quiz on Learningpoint. This can be found under "Quizzes". Print out a hard copy. Use the answer key to check your answers. Bring the hard copy to class on Wednesday 10-15. q Creating a Molecule of Insulin via the Cytomembrane System. This can be found on p. 18B in you lab book. Complete this activity by cutting out the statement boxes and pasting them on another sheet of paper. Bring completed assignment to class Wednesday 10-15. q Lab Write-up: Diffusion and Osmosis Lab- Using this page for reference, write up these parts of your lab: Title, Background/Introduction, Purpose, Hypothesis, Materials, Methods, Diagram of setup, Data table. This page is in your lab book, though the page is not numbered (it is between p. 24and 25) I will check your lab write-ups 10/15 to make sure you have completed the parts listed above. You will lose points if you do not have all the above parts completed. q Week 8 Discussion: Go to Learningpoint and answer the week 8 discussion question. Make sure you also answer back to at least 2 other students in the class. q CELL EXAM IS 10/22 |
