Digestive System

NOTE:  All Students will  need to attend class Friday morning 1st period 2-29-08 to take the Skeleton/ Muscles/ and Tissues TEST  (If you cannot make it during this period, please talk to me and schedule another time.)

q  Read text Chapter 6, Digestion and Nutrition. 

 q Note:  We will be doing a Digestion Rotation Lab this week in class.  The Fill in the blank notes on LB p 22-24 will be completed at that time.  If you miss some of the stations and thus some of the notes, you can find Answers to fill in the blanks pdf file or word doc  here. 

q LB pages 25 through 28.  Due 2-27-08.                                                                      LB p 25 Crossword puzzle hints:  smallintestine, hydrochloric, largeintestine, rectum, mouth, amylase, bile, villi, pepsin, peristalsis, esophagus, stomach.

q  Watch "Human Body:  The Digestive System".   Use my password for Unitedstreaming to access this video.   Answer/print the Video Questions found under Video Questions in learningpoint -due 2-27-08.

                    5.  Answer the video questions found on learningpoint

q  Muscle Lab Sections I, II, III (We did in class 2/13) It should be turned in no later than Friday 2-29.  If you do not finish in class (which most of you did not) and cannot make tutorial the following might help you.  What questions do you need to finish?
If you need to focus/draw structures, then come in to tutorial.
If you need to finish the questions of Part I, Muscle types or Part II, Leverage and Movement, you can come to tutorial or I scanned the lab hand-out into learningpoint.  Go to course documents and click on Muscle Lab Hand-out.  When the document is being opened, it will ask you if you want to save it.  My suggestion is that you say "yes" and save it to your desktop.   This way you can manipulate the document (make it bigger) so that you can actually read it.
