Skeletal System

q  Textbook Reading:  
Red Book: Read Chapter 5.1 - 5.6 

Note:  Exchange your Blue Textbook for the Red Book if you haven't already (Textbook not lab book....this really only applies to students moving from the classroom human bio to the online class, as they have a different edition of the book). 

q  Notes about bones:  Do the fill in the blank notes about bones.  Lab Book p. 8A- Do I through VI.  Use this PowerPoint to help you.  You don't need to do the Muscular System notes...yet :-)

q  Answer these Chapter 5 Questions, by Wednesday 2/6/08. 

q  Watch Body Story Broken Bones video.  As you watch the video, answer the video questions.   You can watch the video and download the questions from learningpoint.  They can be found in the "Video" file and "Video Questions" file.  If you have trouble viewing the video please come in to class during 1st period (Mon. or Tues.) to watch the video. 

**QUIZ WEDNESDAY 2/6/08 ON CHAPTER 4.    What's on the quiz?

q  The Tissue Rotation Lab (CH 4) will be due Wed. 2-6-08 if you have not already handed it in (most of you have finished and handed it in). 

q  Discussion Board:  Go to learningpoint, Semester II, Week 2 Discussion.  Answer the two critical thinking questions.

q  We will do a Rotation Lab dealing with the Skeletal System this week in Class.
