Hi everyone in the per. 1 Online Human Bio class,

  This coming Wednesday (1-23-08), we will meet (it will not be a lab day...just a regular 55 min period). It is a mandatory meeting.   I will hand out the new Lab books (please bring $8.00 cash or check to MCHS).  I will hand back the Finals and give you a chance to look over both the Multiple Choice and Lab tests.

   The Week 1 Assignment (Below) will be due next Wednesday 1-30-08.

Week 1 Checklist

Intro to Tissues, Organ Systems, and Homeostasis

Semester II Lab Books:  $8.00 (Make checks payable to MCHS or bring cash).  Please bring ASAP

q  Read all of Chapter 4 (Red book) or all of Chapter 3 (Blue book).   If you have a blue book, take it to the library to exchange it for a red book.

q  Do the end of the Chapter Review Questions #1-10.  Write the question and answer, or use complete sentences.  To be handed in on Wed. 1-30-08

q  Do the Self-Quiz at the end of the Chapter #1-12.  To be handed in on Wed. 1-30-08

q  The following questions will be part of the Lab we will be doing on Wed. (1-30-08).  You might want to print these out to preview them.   If you are feeling motivated you might want to answer as many of them as you can before Wed.  Chapter 3/4 questions .

q  Complete the fill-in handouts in your new Lab Book-The following parts only (the rest of the notes will be filled in during the upcoming lab.) Due 1-30-08

1.   Fill in notes on p.1 start with "Key Concepts" and go through 3.1 #6 (stop at glands). 

2.  Fill in p. 2 Sections 3.10-3.12
