q Read textbook pages 216-225.  Fill in the blanks on LB page 67.  Do parts I through IV -C

q  Do Lab Book pages:  71, 81-82 and Neuron Crossword (no page number...it is located after p 82).  Due 4-23-08 

q  Synapse:   Read up on synapses on this Neuroscience page. Answer these 3 questions and bring them to class wed 4-23-08.
Week 11 Synapse Questions
1.  What is a neurotransmitter?  Give 4 examples of neurotransmitters and what they signal.
2.  Describe how neurotransmitters diffuse across the cleft and then back--and what this does to the neurons involved.
3.  Watch these two video clips.  Describe what drugs do to synapses. (short paragraph)  Due 4-23-08
