Students, parents, and the community can report suspicious and illegal activities by seeing an adult in person or calling the PUSD Safe Schools Hotline. Together we can help keep our children safe. The confidentiality of those reporting is protected.

Senate Bill 777
A recent controversy has arisen over the passage and Governor’s signature of Senate Bill 777, which was to become effective January 1, 2008. The Poway Unified School District believes this new law contains nothing which was not previously covered under existing law and will not cause teachers or district programs to make any changes to current practices.

Parent Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Planning Guide (pdf)  
 This guide describes how parents can help during an emergency. It explains what schools can be expected to do and the school district’s alert procedure. The guide also contains a District Map and School Zones and school bus procedures.
