The Poway Unified School District is pleased to present the community with its
first annual State of the District Report. The Board of Education adopted two goals
(in the Spring of 2002) and adopted a strategic plan (in the Fall of 2002) that build
on our tradition of excellence while raising expectations for all students. The data
from this report will be used to help in our educational program planning and our
improvement efforts. Additional information about Poway Unified has been placed in
this report to serve as a resource for the staff and the community, and to give the
readers a "snapshot in time" of our school district.
