Garden Road Elementary School

Garden Road has completed various modernizations and additions because of Proposition U funding.

Garden Road Elementary School was built in 1961.

The scope of work included:

• Utility upgrade/efficiency improvements
• Add 11 new classrooms
• New multi-purpose room
• New kitchen and lunch shelter
• Renovate/upgrade restrooms as needed
• Renovate/expand library
• Renovate staff work area
• Playground improvements
• Technology upgradess

Construction crews accomplished an amazing amount of work during 2006 and 2007. It was a busy year for builders, staff, and students....and we did it together.
